CLOSING CEREMONY - CFS KAMLOOPS
FRIDAY, 29 JULY 1988 1100 HRS

Reference: - Discussion CO/SWO 11 Jul 88

  1. The flags will be lowered at CFS Kamloops for the last time on Friday, 29 Jul 88 at 1100 hrs.
  2. Military Personnel - All military personnel who are on strength on 29 Jul 88 shall attend. Dress - Male Personnel, slacks and sport jacket with or without tie. Female Personnel, dress "nicely".
  3. Civilian Personnel - All civilian personnel employed on 29 Jul 88 shall attend. Dress - Male Personnel, slacks and sport jacket with or without tie. Female Personnel, dress "nicely".
  4. MWO Bellman, the longest serving military member - Aug 1980 to Jul 88, will lower the flags.
  5. When the flags are lowered all military personnel shall stand at attention; the CO will salute when the Canadian flag is lowered.
  6. Personnel are encouraged to bring family and friends.
  7. The gate shall be closed at 1600 hrs sharp.
