RCA party on Station for annual overhaul of TPS-502, FPS-502, and associated gear.

18 Feb 57

ADC Supply Staff Inspection carried out by F/L Marcotte and F/O Porter.

21 Feb 57

Visit of Deputy Chief of Operations. A/C Gilchrist made a staff visit to the unit. W/C Steeves made a Telecom staff liaison visit to Station Moisie and inspected the Station’s Radar, Communications and Message Center Facilities.

F/O McConochie transferred to Lac St. Denis.

Search and Rescue based at this unit, carried on search for missing Aero Commander last reported in the Seven Islands area. Unit involved was 107 SAR Unit from Greenwood and the search master used Operations as his headquarters with full co-operation from RCAF Station Moisie Operations personnel. Search abandoned with negative results.

NE MRP arrived for the annual peaking of the FPS-3 and associated equipments.
