INFORMATION
1- This reissue incorporates all previous amendments.
INTENTION
2 - To restate the organization for 37 Radar Squadron (37 Rdr Sqn).
EXECUTION
Effective Date
3 - This order shall be effective 1 May 1964.
Role
4 - The role of this unit is to:
(a) collect, discriminate and transmit to a designated SAGE Centre radar data appearing within the area of coverage.
Command and Control
5 -
(a) Designation of officer appointed to command 37 Radar Sqn – Commanding Officer.
(b) Control – AOC ADC except that operational control is exercised by Commander 30th NORAD Region through Commander Duluth Sector. When unit training activities, which are controlled by the AOC ADC, require the facilities of the NORAD System they will be coordinated by the Sector Commander.
ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS
Accounting
6.-
(a) This unit shall be a self accounting unit.
(b) For purposes of QR(Air), art 205.35, this Sqn is not a designated flying unit.
(c) Treasury Services shall be as shown in accounting circular 164.
