G/C Davignon AFHQ/DRA/RC and W/C Gallagher ADC/SORA/RC visited the unit to dedicate the RC Chapel.

Dr. Alderdice from SDC visited the Ground Training Section and operations to determine if this unit was lacking any SDC materials.

Comm and Radar Techs received special transistor familiarization course.

Station Winter Carnival was held this week. Inter-mess sports competitions, Carnival Queen, ice sculpturing contest were held during the beginning of the week. Station Senneterre personnel arrived for the last two days for inter-station sports competitions. (Annex 1)

F/L Collins and F/O Hill ADC/SOPR Branch covered the Winter Carnival and took movies which were shown on TV across Canada.

G/C Powell ADC SOMS, S/L Osborne ADC Matron and F/L Evoy SOMS Branch visited the Station Hospital on a staff inspection.

ADCOM II Phase I was accepted by the STelO on behalf of AMCHQ.

S/L Merrifield, Major Knutty (USAF), Dr. Alderdice and WO2 Hill from MNR visited operations to familiarize themselves with the method of TORing and to meet the personnel involved.
