1957 - Chaplains Letter - Dan R. Robinson

- (1 July 1957) Letter from Office of the Protestant Chaplain, 4082nd Air Base Group, APO 677,. C-O PM., NY, NY

1 July 1957

Mrs. Theodore A. Grosz
1101 9th St.
S. Moorhead, Minn.

Dear Mrs. Grosz:

We have just had an interview with your husband who arrived at this Base recently. We talked to him about the religious opportunities available in the Chaplains Program and invited him to participate regularly in these activities. We feel that it is important for Air Force Personnel who are away from home to maintain regular habits of worship and believe that such activities can be a blessing to him.

We know that there are going to be times when Theodore will be discouraged and in need of support and devotion from home, so we respectfully suggest that your letters be frequent and encouraging. We find that frequent letters do much for the individuals stationed at this Base. The mail service is exceptionally good, except in inclement weather. Please feel free to write to me should there be any situation develop in which we can be of service.

-- With every good wish, I am,
-- Sincerely,
-- DAN .R. ROBISON
Chaplain (1st Lt.), USAF
