ORGANIZATION ORDER 2.13
DISBANDMENT OF 13 AIRCRAFT CONTROL
AND WARNING SQUADRON
ST. SYLVESTRE, QUE.
(This OrgO supersedes OrgO 2.13 dated 13 Jun 62)

INFORMATION

  1. In conjunction with the realignment of the North American Air Defence System, the Government has approved the disbandment of a number of AC&W and Radar Squadrons.

INTENTION

  1. To disband 13 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron, St. Sylvestre, Que. (13 AC&W Squadron).

EXECUTION

Effective Date

  1. This order will be effective 1 Apr 64.

Establishment

  1. Establishment code 22 CQ 210 shall be cancelled by ADCHQ and the positions involved deleted from the ADC ceiling.

Personnel

  1. The disposal of personnel shall be arranged by AFHQ and ADCHQ.

Accounting

  1. Travelling expenses arising from the disposal of personnel on the disbandment of 13 AC&W Squadron, shall be charged to AFHQ FE.
  2. The protection and disposal of non public funds shall be in accordance with AFAO 27.00/03.

Supply

  1. The AOC ADC shall arrange for the withdrawal of material on charge of 13 AC&W Squadron and shall arrange with the AOC AMC for disposal or redistribution in accordance with CAP 16 Vol. I.

Documents

  1. RCAF documents held by 13 AC&W Squadron shall be disposed of in accordance with AFAO 57.00/03.

Rear Party

  1. ADCHQ shall advise AFHQ of their personnel requirements for the Rear Party and an appropriate supplementary establishment shall be issued by AFHQ. AFHQ will make separate arrangements with ADCHQ for any civilian positions required after the disbandment date. For purposes of close out the Rear Party shall be self-accounting until further advised by AFHQ. ADCHQ shall issue an Org Instruction for the guidance of the Rear Party and shall advise AFHQ when the Rear Party is disbanded.
  2. AFHQ will issue separate instructions regarding the disposal of buildings and property.
