DISBANDMENT OF
1 R&CS TRAINING DETACHMENT, STE MARIE, PQ
INFORMATION
1 - Sufficient equipment and space is now available at 1 R&CS Clinton to carry out the training of Radar Technicians (G) at that school. It is planned to transfer this training progressively from Ste Marie, PQ to Clinton. The last course to be trained at Ste Marie will graduate 15 May 55.
INTENTION
2 - To disband 1 R&CS Training Detachment Ste Marie.
EXECUTION
Effective Date
3 - The provisions of this Appendix are to become effective 17 May 55.
ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS
Establishment
4 - Effective 17 May 55, establishment code 1 60 DS 699 is to be cancelled. Effective the same date establishment code 1 60 JD 665 1 R&CS is to be amended by the addition of the positions necessary to enable Radar Tech (G) training to continue at 1 R&CS, Clinton.
Personnel
5 - The transfer or posting of personnel from 1 R&CS Training Detachment, Ste Marie, PQ to 1 R&CS Clinton or to other duties as appropriate is to be arranged by AFHQ and TCHQ.
Supply
6 - The AOC TC is to arrange in conjunction with the AOcS ADC and AMC for the withdrawal, or transfer of the materiel on charge to 1 R&CS Training Detachment, Ste Marie, PQ.
Documents and Records
7 - Documents and records required by 1 R&CS and held by 1 R&CS Training Detachment or 13 AC&W Sqn Ste Marie are to be transferred to CO RCAF Station Clinton, Ontario. The remaining documents, if any, are to be disposed of in accordance with AFAO 57.00/03.
Reports
8 - AFHQ is to be advised when the disbandment of 1 R&CS Training Detachment, Ste Marie, PQ, has been completed.
