1998 - The End of the Story - Mary Phillips

New Dawn Enterprises took over the former base and most of the homes are rented out now. Some of the duplexes are known as special care homes where a family lives in one side and is paid to look after someone living in the other side. This could include providing their meals, driving them to their appointments and generally looking out for them.

There is also Carefield Manor which is a nursing home and also used as a guest home where the former kitchen and Sgts. Mess was located. Sad to say, the former Jr. Ranks building remains empty. The former Curling Rink is still being operated for curling and is now called the Schooner Curling Club. The former base is now called Pinetree Estates.
