INFORMATION

  1. In accordance with a recent decision concerning a change in role for 52 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron (52 AC&W Squadron) it has been decided to rewrite the OrgO for this Squadron.

 

INTENTION

  1. To rewrite the OrgO for 52 AC&W Squadron.

 

EXECUTION

Effective Date

  1. The provisions of this OrgO are to become effective 1 Aug 56.

Role

  1. The role of this unit is to collect, display and relay to higher echelons, up to date information on the air situation within its area of responsibility.

Command

  1. The officer appointed to command 52 AC&W Squadron is to be the Commanding Officer of this unit as defined by QR(Air) art 102 (xxi)(a)(iii).

Control

  1. Control of this unit is to be exercised by the AOC ADC through the Commander, 5 Air Division.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS

Establishment

  1. Establishment code 121 FC 293 will be amended to reflect this change in role.

Personnel

  1. The transfer or posting of personnel is to be arranged by AFHQ and ADCHQ.

Accounting

  1. This unit is to be self accounting for pay and materiel.
  1. Expenditures are to be charged to Vote 600.
  1. For purposes of QR(Air) art 205.30 and AFAO F5.30 this unit is not designated as a flying unit.
  1. Treasury Services are to be provided as follows:
  1. Service pay and materiel - DTO Montreal
  2. Civilian pay - DTO Vancouver

Supply

  1. The provision of materiel is to be arranged by the AOCs AMC and ADC in accordance with CAP 16 Vol.

Accommodation and Messing

  1. Accommodation and messing are to be arranged by the AOC ADC through the Commander 5 Air Div.

Medical, Dental and Chaplaincy Services

  1. Medical, dental and Chaplaincy services are to be arranged by the AOC ADC through the Commander 5 Air Div.
