  1. Reference AFHQ letter 10-6-T7 Vol. 2 (ENG-2) 30 Aug 57.
  1. The following properties are not in use at present:
  1. Former VHF Transmitter and Receiver Site and VHF DF Homing Station; that is E ½ lot 208, lot 212, lot 204, lot 203, lot 92, lot 202, lot 201, lot 112, lot 113, and site parcels on lots 93 and 191.
  2. Former M/F D/F Station and H/F D/F Homing Station located on lot 221.
  3. Former GCI Station (WT Bldg.). Note: this is referred to in your letter but cannot be located on the site plans.
  4. Former Radio Range Site (DOT) located on lot 399 is not in use.
  1. The following sites mentioned in your letter are in use at present:
  1. Former WT Station located on lots 133, 134, and 280 is in use as an LF Beacon Site at present.
  2. Former Repeater Building Site. It is assumed that this is Building 54 which is on the main camp site and is in use as an inflammable stores. It is a solid concrete building that is ideally suited to its present use.
  1. The property shown on Provincial maps as Indian Reserve # 3 is not in use at present. An enquiry was made recently by the local Indian Chief and the Superintendent of Indian Affairs for Port Alberni District, Mr. Gerard, as to the status of this land.
