2000 - A Visit to Edgar – Bob Agar

August, 2000

Bob Agar returned for another visit to Edgar during the month of August 2000. He reports as follows: Burns Security is still on the job. They said they had figured they would be out of work last fall (Fall 1999) as the station would probably have been sold by then. It appears that the provincial government ran into a problem with the real estate people, and that delayed the sale of the station. They are now guessing that the station will probably be sold during the fall of 2000. They were told not to let anyone onto the base as they had cut security back to a minimum and they did not have the personnel to allow visitors to wander about.
