    This was a going away party for Captain Paquette, Captain Wahlen and Lt. Joe Wager, three officers of the original 108th AC&W Squadron which was a National Guard outfit activated and shipped to Newfoundland and was the cadre for the 642nd AC&W Squadron and other suadrons such as the 640th at Stephenville and the 641st at Goose Bay.
