My wife and I returned from our visit to St. John's last week (July 2004). The old 642nd site now is in total ruin and overgrown, nothing much left to see or photograph. I have two photos I will send seperately of my wife and I and Paul Winterson at the site.

The attached pictures were taken sometime in the middle to late sixties by Al Serra (unknown to me) and given to Paul Winterson in the early seventies. Paul sent them to me to scan for him and to copy for you. As noted we don't know for sure what some of the areas in the pictures are. Any help from others will be appreciated. I think it is a disgrace that the unit sign with the emblem was tossed aside like ordinary trash.
