  1. Yorkton Main Street is taken looking west towards the towers - August 2001.
On the left is the old ME Section, the right is the Chapel and the Admin is just a little to the left of the Chapel (under the tallest tree). Straight ahead, down Main Street, is the Tower area, perhaps 400 years straight ahead. The Main Gate was there too, the road swings a bit to the left, then west again to the main road. The Station has been a "home for wayward youth", drugs, alcohol etc and is still within the local Health Authority as Administration offices. We had no trouble gaining entrance this year, whereas three or four years ago, when the station was used for "drug rehab" we could not get in.

  2. Yorkton PMQ is taken looking more or less south around the corner from the Chapel which is just out of the picture on the left - August 2001.
On the right you see one of perhaps a half dozen of the remaining PMQs. These were used by Airmen and Corporals - the Sergeants and Officers PMQs are all gone. Under the trees is the Admin block with Mess Halls etc. I believe the Airmans Club was in this area, Officers Mess on the left, Sergeants around the other side on Main Street
