    We boarded a small ship and then transferred to the USNS Marine Carp which was anchored out in the bay. We then went to Hopedale, Frobisher Bay and Thule before finally arriving in New York Harbour on 10 October 1954. The building in the upper center of the photo is the Hudson's Bay Store. I am on the lower right side of the photo, holding a blue bag in my left hand.
