USAF C-47 accident on the harbour - March 1955. This C-47 landed on the harbour ice, on a makeshift runway (snow cleared off, nothing more), and toppled forward when it hit a wind drift which was across the aircraft path, after touching down. Nobody hurt as I recall. The plane was dismantled and shipped out the following summer.
