1944 - The Rest of the Story


Live entertainment was unknown at most of the remote radar sites during World War II due to transport and landing problems. As a result, site personnel such as this "Swami", often created entertainment. It was said that when he looked into his crystal ball he often "saw" that the war would end sometime next month. This always brought a cheer from his audience.
