John C Campbell
BURK'S FALLS: Funeral services were held on May 5th 2003 at the Dempster-Allair Funeral Home in Burk's Falls for John Christian Colin Campbell. Campbell passed away at Eastholme Home for the Aged in Powassan on May 2nd. He was 85.
The son of John Sr and Christine McClure, John was born on January 31, 1916 in Magnetawan.
While growing up, he attended schools in Magnetawan and Burk's Falls. In later years he became a licensed mechanic, joining the RCAF during WWII and was stationed at Langara Island off the coast of British Columbia.
