Weather: Overcast, fog, rain, temp 45 degrees F. W/V 30 mph. Operations: Hours of operation 23:00. Maintenance 1 hour. No of tracks 3. No of plots 41. Max range 131. Longest track 170 miles. Capt Anderson, Dental Officer, arrived from No 1 Group HQ to inspect the personnel. Pay cheques for month of November arrived.

2 Dec 44

Weather: Fair, Temp. 40 degrees. Peak W/V 22 mph. Operations: Hours of operation 22:20 of which 6 hours and 11 minutes were restricted during installation of new armature. Breakdown 40 minutes due to u/s armature on turning motor. Maintenance 1 hour. No of tracks 41. No of plot 263. Max range 142 miles. Longest track 280 miles. Pay parade held. Partial repairs carried out on telephone line from camp to the railway station at Bonavista.

Weather: Cloudy to overcast. Temp. 32 degrees F. W/V 4 mph. Operations: Hours of operation 24:00. No of tracks 47. No of plots 208. Max range 136. Longest track 94 miles.

Weather: Overcast, snow, temperature 33 degrees F. W/V 8 mph. Operations: Hours of operation 23:00. Maintenance 1 hour. No of tracks 21. No of plots 185. Max range 146. Longest track 142 miles. Emergency run made to Catalina for hospital cases arriving on US crash boat.

5 Dec 44

Weather: Overcast. Temp 33 degrees F. W/V 3 mph. Operations: Hours of operation 24:00. No of tracks 20. No of plots 127. Max range 121. Longest track 123 miles. F/O Rushton, Special Services Officer from No 1 Group HQ, and F/L Henry, Command Canteen Officer arrived at this unit. AT3 was unpacked and found to be in a very dirty condition. Complete overhaul was started.

First dance held at station since RCAF took over.

14 Dec 44

Weather: Overcast and rain, change to clear and windy in forenoon, cloudy at 1600 hours for the remainder of the day. Temp 35 degrees F. W/V 28 mph. Operations: Hours of operation 23:00. Maintenance 1 hour. No of tracks 50. No of plots 417. Max range 143 miles. Longest track 153 miles. New illuminated plotting board, designed and constructed by R83507 Sgt Dubord, AE, was put in service in the operations building. This greatly speeds up plotting.

15 Dec 44

Weather: Partly cloudy to clear, light snow at 1600 hours, clear in the evening. Temp 30 degrees F. W/V 21 mph. Operations: Hours of operation 23:00. Maintenance 1 hour. No of tracks 61. No of plots 505. Max range 150 miles. Longest track 160 miles. Train in - 3 bags of mail.

Weather: Partly cloudy to clear at 0400 hours. Partly cloudy at 1600 hours. Clear at 2200 hours. Temp 24 degrees F. W/V 30 mph. Operations: Hours of operation 23:00. Maintenance 1 hour. No of tracks 82. No of plots 476. Max range 150 miles. Longest track 171 miles.
