CERTIFIED COPY OF A MINUTE of the Honourable the Executive Council,
approved by His Honour the Lieutenant Governor on the
8th day of January, AD 1943.

TO HIS HONOUR THE LIEUTENANT-GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL:

The undersigned has the honour to recommend:-

That under the provisions of Section 93 of the "Land Act", Chapter 144, Revised Statutes of British Columbia 1936, the following areas be reserved for the use of the Department of National Defence, Canada, for so long as required for defence purposes:-That part of Queen Charlotte Land District, more particularly described as follows:All that part of Langara Island which lies north of a line drawn parallel to and 40 chains south of the southerly boundary of Lot 2081, expecting thereout Lots 2077 and 2081, Queen Charlotte Land District.

That part of Queen Charlotte Land District, more particularly described as follows:-

The island which lies off the westerly entrance of Skidegate Channel and is known as Marble Island, together with the island which lies immediately to the south.

That part of Range 2, Coast Land District, more particularly described as follows:The whole of the island which is known as Spider Island, and which is situated off the west side of Hunter Island.

That part of Rupert Land District, more particularly described as follows:

Fractional Sections 19, 29 and 30, of Township 43, and Lot 1284, all situated in the vicinity of Cape Scott, Rupert Land District.

That part of Nootka Land District, more particularly described as follows:

All that part of Nootka Island which lies west of the westerly boundary of STL 13060-P, together with the island which lies immediately to the north-west.

AND TO FURTHER RCOMMEND that a certified copy of this Minute, if approved, be forwarded to the Department of National Defence, Ottawa, and to the Air Officer Commanding, Western Air Command, Victoria, B.C.
