SECRET ORGANIZATION ORDER NO. 314
DISBANDMENT OF NO 2 FILTER UNIT, VICTORIA.

(This order supersedes SOO 166)

INFORMATION

1. As a result of the successful conclusion of the war in Europe and of the war against Japan, the continued operation of this unit is no longer required. It is intended to disband 2 Filter Unit, Victoria, BC.

EXECUTION

Effective Date

2. This unit is to cease the performance of its function effective 10 Sept 45 and is to disband effective 19 Sept 45.

Establishment

3. Establishment 3 9 RZ 004 concerning personnel and major equipment is to be cancelled effective 19 Sept 45.

Personnel

4. The posting of staff personnel is to be arranged by AFHQ and the AOC, WAC.

Equipment and Supplies

5. Equipment, supplies, forms, stationery and publications are to be disposed of in accordance with existing instructions. AMSO/DES is to issue special directives where necessary in amplifications of these instructions.

Buildings and Properties

6. The taking over of buildings and properties from the OC, 2 Filter Unit, is to be affected by the AOC, WAC.

Care and Maintenance

7. The AOC, WAC, is to arrange for care and maintenance of buildings and property pending further instructions from AFHQ as to their disposal.

Disposal of Properties

8. Final disposal of properties is to be arranged by the AOC, WAC, in accordance with instructions to be issued by AFHQ.

Board of Officers

9. A Board of Officers is to be appointed by the AOC, WAC, for the purpose of disposing of documents.

Reports

10. The AOC, WAC, is to report to AFHQ when action respecting disbandment of 2 Filter Unit, Victoria, is completed.
