Port propeller, dent 1" by 1" in one blade. This same blade has no pitch in outer two (2) feet of blade. The other two b1ades have only a slight pitch, less than that designed for such a propeller. 0950 Set the special sea detail and made all preparations for getting underway. Commander H H HUGHSON, Chief of Staff Officer of ComLSDRon TWO was directed to remain in Thule Greenland as representative of CTG 150.1 as per orders of ComLSDRon TWO dated 10 July 1953. 1018 Underway from Thule, Greenland and proceeding to Saglek Bay, Labrador in accordance with verbal orders of CTG l50.
