Sports Banquet – October 1956
The 1 Air Division trophy is being presented by A/V/M BH Godwin to Bob Estabrooks. Seated at the table, looking on, are (L-R) Bill Buck, a Rec Spec at the time, and his wife. I do not know the woman on the right. F/O WB "Bill" Wilson, a 421 Squadron Sabre pilot who was killed in a flying accident on 14 March 1957, was the MC at this function. Bill had helped with the coaching of the high school (such as it was) basketball team, and we were all devastated when he died.
