A Trip to Amos – April 1954
The Lefebvres - what can I say? They almost adopted my dad as he waited for us to join him in France. They drove him in their big Buick to LeHavre to pick up mom and me and the twins when we arrived. They were like grandparents to us for many years and we loved them dearly. We went on many trips together and spent quite a bit of time with them. We never lost touch after that and visited back and forth in Canada, too. I last saw them in Ottawa in about 1972.
