Intention

To state the organization for 2 Fighter Wing Headquarters (2 FWgHQ).

Role

The role of this Wing HQ is to:

  1. administer and control the units listed at Appendix "A" except for operational control of aircraft and crews assigned for commitments other than unit training;
  2. provide support services as detailed for the units listed at Appendix "B";
  3. control and operate the assigned deployed airfield and dispersed site at St. Hubert, Belgium.

Command and Control
  1. Designation of officer appointed to command 2 F Wg HQ - Commanding Officer;
  2. Control - AOC 1 Air Div.

Adminstrative Arrangements

Accounting

  1. Self-accounting;
  2. For purposes of QR (Air) art 205.35 this Wg HQ is a designated flying unit, with only the following appointments active and continuous engagement in flying duties:

    Commanding Officer and Wing Flight Safety Officer (WSFO)
    Chief Operations Officer (COpsO)
    Ops Room Staff
    Wing Instrument Flight

  3. Treasury Services provided by DTO, Metz.
