"Ma Hemerings"


Andy Little made a visit to Grostenquin in July 2001.

There was a distinctive break between the villages of Guessling and Hemering in the 1950s and the 1960s. The two villages have now fused into one and the new map names the two villages on one sign.

While in the area, he stopped in Hemering to find that "Ma Hemerings" is now a private home. Andy took a few photos of the exterior of what used to be known as "Ma Hemerings". These photos are provided below and are sure to take you back down "memory lane".
