Grostenquin, France
Local Area Photographs

Andy Little made a trip to the Grostenquin area in July 2001. He approached from Metz and proceeded to Faulquemont where he continued his trip proceeding as follows: Guessling, Hemering, and then onwards to the airfield (2 Wing). From this point, he returned towards Hemring, turning right towards Lelling, Lixing, Vahl Ebersing, and the PMQ site at St. Avold. Grostenquin, Lixing, Val Ebsersing, PMQ's, St. Avold, Folschviller, Lelling, Hemering, Guessing, Faulquemont, and then back towards Metz. Andy was able to take a number of photos along the way - most of which were drive-by photos as he proceeded through the many small towns and villages that we knew so well when we were stationed at 2 Wing. We hope that some of these photos will bring back some fond memories.
