Mr. J Brophy, Deputy Minister of Trade and Commerce, Ottawa, accompanied by Mr. R Roe from London, visited the unit on an official inspection. They arrived by CJS (L) Dakota, were met by A/V/M HL Campbell, AOC, 1 Air Division, and G/C W Weiser, Station Commander. After briefing by the CO they were conducted on a tour of the unit, later departing by air for 4 Wing at Baden-Soellingen. During their visit they were tendered a luncheon by the CO.
