Grostenquin, France
Station Trailer Park

We have yet to determine the exact timing and sequence of events pertaining to the trailer park located at RCAF Station Grostenquin. It appears that the first trailers were supplied by a firm in England, and these were initially situated on cement pads in the 421 (F) Squadron dispersal area. It would also appear that the first of these trailers were being used in February of 1953 and that they were moved from the 421 (F) Squadron dispersal area to the permanent trailer park, located by the water tower, in September-October of 1953.
