Based on chassis of the earlier American M3 tank the Priest was an attempt to allow artillery to keep pace with rapidly advancing armoured forces. This mock up, in Canadian markings, was produced by Gananoque high school students as a D-day project. The Sexton was a similar and very successful Canadian experiment based upon the undergunned Canadian designed Ramtank.
