CAS and Mrs Campbell visited the unit. They arrived by Comet and visited the afternoon, then they departed for 4 (F) Wing by Dakota. Visit was successful, however, due to the delay in the arrival of the Comet, the scheduled programmed was slightly altered.

Exhibition Basketball game played in Rec Centre between Virton Belgium and 1 Wing.

International Hockey games commenced with 1 Wing Arrows against Den Haag, Holland. Victors were the Arrows.

Arrows played host to various visiting hockey teams during the month including 3 Swiss teams, Cortina Italy, and Tampere Finland. To date Arrows have won all games by a considerable margin.
