A military funeral was held at Choloy cemetery for 133211 LAC JH Cook, who was killed in an automobile accident.

Captaine M Cheval, retiring French Liaison Officer took the salute at the Commanding Officers Parade and later attended a Dining-In night given in his honour at the Officers' Mess.

The presentation of a Squadron Mascot to 439 Squadron took place. The Mascot, a stuffed tiger, is a gift from Maharaja of Rewa.
