This photo was taken on the RMS Ivernia on 30 April 1959. The "last supper" before reaching destination aboard these vessels was a gala banquet where we were waited on "hand and foot" by the staff. Each table was visited by Captain SA Jones, RD, RNR, who commanded the ship - and a dance and entertainment evening followed.
