The movement of personnel and equipment from Canada to Europe in the early 1950's was completed on what can be called a "Wing" by "Wing" basis. In the case of 1 Wing, we have not been able to locate any official RCAF documents, but it appears that the move to 1 Wing at North Luffenham took place as follows:
