North Luffenham
410 Squadron Photographs

This is a large bronze coin (1 and 3/4 inch in diameter) especially pressed by George Tarratt Ltd, Goldsmiths in Leicester, England, and given to 410 Squadron personnel. We have no idea how long this practice was carried out, but it is felt that all 410 Squadron members who participated in the tremendous operation of moving the Squadron from Canada to the UK on the aircraft carrier, and then making the Squadron operational at North Luffenham were presented with one.
