The Rest of the Story: - ACOp Course 37 - the course on which certain members decided that if the Army Base Commander could have a cannon, the Air Force Base Commander should have one too. So - the cannon at the Bug School (NBCW) was expropriated.

Unfortunately the plan went amiss behind the Maple Mess. Seems there was a "peeping Tom" about the female quarters adjacent to the Mess and the gendarmes were making frequent patrols. After much hair pulling by the Instructional Staff, (notice that the staff declined to get in the course picture), we graduated. However, in the interim, Sgt Harry Clayton, had business cards made up modeled after the "Paladin" character on TV. Have Cannon - Will Travel, Contact Course 37, School of Flying Control.

It should be noted that as they fined the Course Senior, he was lauded for his leadership abilities.
