In the first week of October 1992 the ATC section held an Oktoberfest at Jim Dunn's place. The plan was to set up sections of a marquis tent in the back yard. Then came the snow. Since the Dunn's had a large garage, it was proposed to set up the tentage and move things to there from the garage, and use it as the "fest halle". Nothing doing - it had to be under canvas. So, three natural gas BBQs were set up in the garage, tables in the tent, and the family room was available for those "faint of heart" or spirit. Snowpersons, complete with "dog turds" adorned the tables in the tent.

    The Airshow - This two day airshow in May 1992 drew about 1/4 million people on the Sunday. We ran out of parking space, the bus-park-and-rides were over-whelmed, and counterfeit admittance tickets were being sold. Departure day was Monday. Tuesday saw about 1.5 feet of snow on the ground.
