  1. Remains of the east side of #1 hangar - 1993.
    You can see what we called the "look out tower" at the back. This hangar was used mostly for the raising of young baby fowl (on one side) and the other side was used as a hockey rink.

    The 14 bay (longest) building in this photo originally served the MSE section when the RCAF was at Macdonald. The buildings with the green roofs were the original sewage treatment and disposal plant.

    There is very little that remains of the church and more houses are gone. New (replacement buildings) have been constructed on the property.

    There are still a few houses to be seen (center background). There is also a good view of the old church and of what we called the curling rink (quonset hut). In the foreground is the remains and foundation of an H-shaped building that had been taken down.
