    This photo shows the unit with no Search antenna or Elevation antenna. This was because we had stripped it down so that we could transport it over to Uplands by road in the wee hours of the morning - which we did.

    This MPN-1C is the Rockcliffe unit, serial 2K54-A42, and Sgt Falardeau was there on staff when I arrived in May 1951. The other Rockcliffe Controllers were F/O Jim Honour OC, F/S "Red" O'Neill, F/S Joe Darby, Sgt Ferdie Falardeau, Sgt Emmett Brownrigg, Cpl George Roy and myself (KD Macdonald). Honour, O'Neill, Darby and Falardeau all trained at San Bernadino California.
