Radio

Radio had a profound impact on warfare in that it gave the commander a timely method of directing large mobile forces at a distance.

The Museum displays the development of radio technology from the early spark-gaps and crystal sets of World War I through the entire period of vacuum tubes to transistors, integrated circuits and finally to computer controlled equipment.
