The Remains of 2 Wing Grostenquin

So you want to back in time? This may, or may not, be the place for you to be. Even if you were at 2 Wing when the RCAF closed the station in 1964 - you must take into consideration the fact that the airfield has more or less remained totally neglected for 37 years. What was once considered by many to be the "Pride of the Air Division" is now overgrown with foilage and the elements have taken their toll on the remains of the buildings. None the less - we offer a number of photographs in an attempt to provide you with a trip down "memory lane".

Please send us an email message if you are able to identify or provide any detail for these photos.
